  • How do I get started & open a live trading account with Pentagon?
    Simply click on the “START TRADING NOW” button above and complete the account application form.
    Once your online application form has been approved by our team, you will be emailed your secure Client Area login details and your Trading Account login details.
  • Can I have multiple trading accounts with Pentagon?

    Yes, Pentagon allows you to open multiple trading accounts via your Client Portal.

  • How to update my account details?

    To change any of the registered personal details in your trading account (displayed on the “Funds Management” / “Personal Information” screen), please contact us to explain the reason for this change and provide us with the relevant information, e.g. name change due to marriage, or change of residential address. We will then review and action your request in accordance with our regulatory requirements and obligations.

  • Does Pentagon offer any Education to its clients?

    Yes, we are proud to offer our clients Pentagon Education Academy with one on one training, Training webinars and a Mentorship Trading Program.

  • How many currency pairs do Pentagon offer?

    Pentagon offers over 65 currency pairs and that includes cryptocurrencies.

  • What is the minimum amount you need to open an account?

    Pentagon allows clients to open an account with as little as $200 USD or currency equivalent.

  • What account types do Pentagon offer?
    Raw Spread Account: This account shows the Raw inter-bank spread received from our liquidity providers. There is a commission charge of $5 per standard lot round turn.

    Standard Account: We do not charge a commission on Standard accounts, but instead there is a mark up applied to the spread from liquidity providers. Above the raw Inter-bank rate received from our Liquidity providers.

  • Can I open a Demo account first?
    Yes, of course. We actively encourage clients to test our demo environment first. You can register via the following link:
  • How long does it take to open an account?

    Please allow our team up to one business day to verify your documents, however, we will aim to have your account open within the hour.

  • What documents do I need to open an account?

    We require a proof of identity and a proof of residence document from you. Proof of identity can be a valid passport, driving license or national ID card. As a proof of residence, we can accept a utility bill or bank statement showing your full name and address, and that is dated within the last six months.

  • Why do I need to submit my documents for account verification?

    This is due to obligatory ‘Know your Client’ (KYC) procedures that we must follow, in accordance with international Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulations.

  • Can I open a trading account in the name of my company?
    Yes, you can as part of our Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements you are required to provide us with your identification.
    You will need to submit the documents as outlined below in addition to providing 100 points of ID for each director.
    Company Information
    1. Copy of your company’s constitution or articles or incorporation
    2. Certificate of Incorporation
    3. Details of directors and shareholders
    4. Company proof of address (utility bill or bank statement no older than 3 months)
    All proof of residence documents must be no older than 90 days.
  • How do I update my address details?

    To update your residential address details, please contact us using your registered email at info@pentagonmarkets.com including your latest residential proof of address stating your name and new address. The statement must be within 90 days.

  • How do I provide my ID documents?

    Documents must be uploaded via your Client Portal or contact your account manager or email accounts@pentagonmarkets.com

  • How long does it take for funds to appear in my account?

    Your deposit will appear instantly in your trading account, however on occasion, there may be up to a 15 minute delay when funding your account using online deposit methods such as credit cards, Paypal, Neteller and Skrill.

    For international bank transfers, please allow up to three to five working days. Domestic wire transfers and BPAY normally take one to two business days.
  • Can I deposit from a joint bank account?

    Yes, however you will be required to provide supporting documentation to confirm that you are one of the named parties on the account.

  • Client Money Protection
    Pentagon subsidiaries are authorised and regulated in the jurisdictions in which they operate, and comply with all client money rules.
    Your deposits will be classified as client money, and afforded maximum protection in accordance with regulatory requirements. Client money is held in segregated trust accounts, and administered in accordance with regulatory requirements. Pentagon does not use client money for hedging, or any other investment or business purpose.
  • Details for a bank transfer

    As a bank transfer is a direct bank to bank transfer of funds, this type of deposit cannot be generated through the Pentagon trading platform. In order to obtain details of the relevant bank account to which funds should be sent, please follow these instructions:
    Click on “Funds Management”: “Deposit” tab: Select “Bank Transfer” and click on “Email me the details” and an email will be sent to you with the relevant details.

  • Funds have not yet been deposited into my account after a bank transfer?

    Please allow up to five business days for us to receive an international transfer. If we have not received your funds after this time, please send your swift copy to info@pentagonmarkets.com and we will look into it.

  • How do I withdraw money from my trading account?
    You can submit a withdrawal request from within your Client Portal. Please note, all withdrawals received before 12:00pm UTC will be processed on the same business day.

    Please note, allow 24 hours, however withdrawals are done on the same day if not systematically.

  • Are there any hidden fees?

    There are no hidden fees at Pentagon Markets. We are mostly compensated through spreads and commissions.

  • Does Pentagon Markets charge a Currency Conversion fee?

    Pentagon Markets will charge a Currency Conversion Fee for all trades on instruments denominated in a currency different to the currency of your account. The Currency Conversion Fee will be up to 0.5% of the trade’s realized profit and loss and reflected in real time into the unrealized profit or loss of an open position.

    We offer multiple funding currencies for our accounts which include USD, EUR, GBP, AUD.
